defeating magni as a monk? - Guild Wars Forums

i tried both the builds given on wiki but have had little success against bision himself, dealing 300+ dmg/hit and taking me out before i get even past a quarter health. any ideas?

Take arcane echo + ebon sin for the fights before Magni.
At Magni, put a 55 set and use PS, HB and Judge's Intervention.

As weird as it may look, it's quite easy to win that way.

Spirits work with any class.

55 with Spoil Victor works there.

SoS spirit farmer works great even with warrior primary prof.

As a monk I recommend you to go SoS spirit farmer , and with YMLAD (you move like a dwarf) and use YMLAD on magni so you interrupt him his bear form.

The thing with magni is to remember that he likes to use that Purge signet to get rid of all conditions AND hexes. So you want to hold off casting [Painful Bond] until he uses his signet. As long as you don't let him knock away all your spirits that he can hit through the door, he should go down pretty fast.
